Cisco has announced its intent to acquire Observable Networks to bolster its Stealthwatch Advanced Threat Solution.

The St Louis based outfit will effectively 'cloud enable' the current Stealthwatch product providing greater levels of visibility and behavioural analytics whilst natively supporting the likes of Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure.

This comes hot on the back of Cisco's recent announcements around the new-intent based network, and we think serves as an affirmation of Cisco's Software Centric Approach.
